Books for wanderlust: to take you different places✨💚

Have you ever read a book which took you different as well as beautiful places?⛩️ Have you ever felt a desire to visit that place or remembered being there earlier by reading that book?🤔😋 You might have even added that place in your bucket list afterwards, who knows?😂

Whether it’s the narrator who has returned to his native land and is explaining the old facade of his house or the couple walking together on the street after their recent shift in different country together👫. The protagonist might be running away from the police and is scaling the length and breadth of the beautiful city after falling into a trap. Or the son who is in search of a truth to unravel the mystery his father told him about before dying. (That’s too much here I think🤣) one way or the other we all have wandered too between those lines.

That’s why, I’ll today share with you some of the books which took me different places while reading. You will literally find yourself in a new and beautiful world.. wait though, don’t be fast – complete this blog and like it😂.

1. Angels and Demons by Dan Brown:

it’s a mystery which will take you through the research laboratory of CERN(Geneva🏔️) to the smallest country in the world and the abode of Pope in Vatican City⛪. The description is awesome and you feel you are with Robert Langdon, the professor of symbology in Harvard University, all the time.

2. The Da Vinci code by Dan Brown:

this one is also a mystery series of Robert Langdon starting from his unveiling of a body in Louvre Museum in Paris🗼, France till the end of Westminster Abbey of London🎡. As always the author has not disappointed us neither in plot nor in the beauty of the places he reveals.

3. Inferno by Dan Brown:

if you are one of the people who really want to roam the cities like Florence, Venice, Istanbul and much more along with a gripping thriller, this book is the best. Again, that handsome professor of the boring subject comes😝 but not as a helper but as a victim this time.

4. The 5AM Club by Robin Sharma:

Disclaimer: if you are not a morning guy then leave this book😂 because it emphasizes on the ways to and benefits of a healthy lifestyle by waking up at early in the morning.

Though it’s a self-help and transformational book but it’s intriguing as a story when the characters in here gets an opportunity to change their lives, the journey takes them from Mauritius (a heaven🌅) to Agra to Italy again.

5. Ikigai: the Japanese to secret to long and happy life:

this too is a self-help book but to be true it takes me to Okinawa Island🏝️. For me after reading Murakami books especially, Japan is fascinating 🏯🗾 and don’t forget the Mt. Fuji 🗻, it’s still active.

6. Latitudes of Longing by Shubhangi Swarup:

now enough of foreign authors, this epic novel is just the debut of a young author whose story tells us about the human relationships with the nature. We get to experience the beauty of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Irrawaddy Delta to Thamel, in Nepal till the end of a village in Karakorams.

This one was suggested to me by one friend which I read after my exam times last year 📚. It was intricately woven and I might have to read it again to absorb😁.

7. The namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri:

Jhumpa Lahiri has made a special connection with Kolkata 🌉, West Bengal here as Gogol has been taken to visit his parents’ homeland frequently few years. The feeling of nostalgia along with the urge to travel intertwined in one way💖

8. The Krishna key by Ashwin Sanghi:

the author is similar to Dan Brown takes us to different places in India itself, from Himalayan ranges to Jaipur and at last Agra we come to know about the Indian beauty😍.

There are many other books too which I’ve to read still and I’ll share my views on them in my other blogs in future.🖋️

Don’t forget to share your views on them in comments and any other book which you makes you feel the same way, I’d love to read that too😅☺️
